Gavin San Pedro — Biography
Born on January 18, 2002, in Puyallup, Washington, and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada, Gavin San Pedro is a multi-hyphenate artist whose life and music are defined by faith, family, and freedom. At just three months old, Gavin moved to Las Vegas to be raised by his single mother and maternal grandparents — the foundation of his love, discipline, and creative spirit. Though his biological father was absent, his upbringing was filled with warmth, guidance, and faith.
At age three, a spark was lit when family friends Siegfried and Roy introduced him to magic — a moment that opened Gavin’s eyes to wonder and creativity. That same year, he found his first true calling through music, sitting at a piano and learning “Heart and Soul” before quickly moving on to Beethoven’s “Für Elise.” Music became more than sound; it became his language.
By second grade, Gavin discovered The Beatles, and his world transformed. Their artistry, paired with his grandparents’ unwavering belief in him, inspired a lifelong pursuit of art in all its forms. His grandparents’ stories — including his grandfather’s escape from communism to give future generations a chance at freedom — shaped Gavin’s gratitude, ambition, and purpose. From traveling to Rome and visiting the resting place of Saint Peter to walking across Abbey Road, his journey has always been guided by history, heritage, and heart.
Faith stands as the cornerstone of Gavin’s life. He was baptized in the Jordan River, where Jesus was baptized — a defining moment that solidified his devotion to God and the Catholic Church. His faith anchors him as he navigates the creative world, from meeting icons like Ye (Kanye West), Ms. Lauryn Hill, and seeing Stevie Wonder, to performing and creating with purpose.
With ambitions that transcend music, Gavin envisions himself as a musician, fashion designer, architect, and entrepreneur. His dream is to establish his own label and creative hub, Musician Sound Studios — a space for artists to create freely, echoing the legacy of Bob Marley’s Tuff Gong. Inspired by legends such as Quincy Jones, Pharrell Williams, and Donald Glover, Gavin aims to merge sound, style, and storytelling into one artistic universe.
As he transitions from Las Vegas toward new horizons in Miami or Los Angeles, with creative visits to New York City for short films and album releases, Gavin is entering a new chapter. On Nov 11th, 2025 he markmarked the finale of his digital releases on DSPs — closing one era and opening another, centered on purpose, privacy, and artistic integrity.
Gavin chooses to step back from social media, preserving his art’s mystery and his life’s sanctity. His story is one of transformation — from a child of faith and freedom to an artist of vision and conviction.
In his words: “I am a soul in this body, and I belong to God. Let this be a testimony.”
